You guys wouldn't believe how many emails I've gotten communicating how this story has moved them ... and how the ending posted right up front ruined their reading experience.
So in response to the multitudes who continue to visit this site, long after anguishing over unrequited love occupied 98% of my time, I am publishing this entry to give new visitors a chance to relive the story of "that torpe" from the very beginning -- start at March 2005.
